This roleplay is an open one and by all means anyone who wishes to join the Hutt Cartel join in! Or, you know, anyone else who wishes to join. :p Here we go!
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
It was a beautiful day, it was 12:34 in standard time, space was clear, no battles were raging, everything was peaceful. That is, of course, until the Supreme Mogul's ring of spies send up the latest batch of data. Someone wanted him dead, oddly enough, it was a Hutt, what was even more odd was that this Hutt was located on Nal Hutta, the very planet that Kor and his fleet were orbiting. Strange, very strange. This had already become personal for him, he did not want to lose this position of power, not to another Hutt as the one before he took control. Kor turned around, starting to walk towards the bridge's exit, grabbing a command pad on his way out. As he reached the door, he opened up a Cartel wide notification program, encoded that only those within the ranks could see. He tapped away.

"To any and all who can spare themselves for a mission report to me on the surface of Nal Hutta. It seems a new enemy has arisen and it's about time we quell this small rebellion." After those words he then entered coordinates of where he would be after landing, in one of the main palaces that ran most criminal activity throughout the planet. Once he was done typing, he opened up a communication frequency with the leader of his ring of spies. "I need you to spread word that there will be a new bounty out for a Hutt, more details will be given once I reach planet side. Promise that the rewards will be great, and if any bounty hunters, smugglers, or straight up criminal scum out there wish to become mercenaries for the Hutt Cartel, this is there opportunity." The communications link closed as soon as he finished speaking, he knew his spies would flood the planets within the Cartel's influence would get this message.

Kor made his way to one of the many landing shuttles the large ship had, and without any further hesitation the ship had lifted off and started to make its way towards Nal Hutta. Almost immediately after the ship left the docking bay area of the larger ship, it was soon joined by four Krayt Gunships, as well as a small escort of Syck fighters, this is what would help him make his planet fall without too much trouble.

As the ships descended into the atmosphere of Nal Hutta, Kor took a small gaze at the ship, his own flag ship at the time, and was caught up in a moment of thought. He needed something bigger, something more dominating on the space battlefield. He had recently thought up a few plans of what type of ships to make, what kind of weapons to fit on them, and most of all, which would be his new flagship. For now, there was a traitor to be hunted, and that is what he was going to focus on.

It didn't take too long for him to reach the planets surface, and once the ship touched down, he started off to find his way to the main chambers of the palace. This is where he would hold a meeting of who ever could join him, so now all he could do was wait. Who ever did decide to join this crusade would be watched at all times, as soon as they reached this palace, for the Supreme Mogul's spies were everywhere.

A pitch black room, illuminated only by light that crept in through some sort of blinds of a window. His location was unknown but presumably close as within seconds of the alert being sent out, a datapad on a table buzzed and the screen lit up blue, showing some of the table underneath it. A radio quality voice buzzed through the speakers on such a datapad. "Hunter, looks like there's a big one! Get yourself to these to coordinates, quickly!" The transmission cut and the datapad sat in place, still on. Oberon stood from a seat he was sitting in, in this dark room. His bare hand came down and touched the datapad off.

Within minutes he was armored and off, researching this alert inside and out as he made his way to the palace specified. There was no hidden meaning, no trackings, just the cold hard facts. Someone was gonna die.

Oberon had rushed there, as calm and collected he was he still made haste. He was the first one to arrive on the scene, given anymore time and he probably would have been waiting on Kor'Lok. His ship was already stationed and he made his way through the front entrance of the palace, blaster rifle in hand set on safety. His boots clunked against the ground as he made steady steps into where Kor'Lok was waiting for those to show up. But Oberon knew in his mind, after he was done here- there wouldn't be a need for anyone else. He was a professional after all.

He slowed his steps as he entered the room to face Kor'Lok. His blaster was lowered and after a few steps he halted into a rested stance, taking in the scene from behind his helmets visor. There was a slight click before he began to speak, his voice slightly altered by his helmets comm system, through he spoke aloud and towards the Zabrak, which he very quickly realized that he was the man himself and no representative. This was a new thing for Oberon as usually men with power didn't come themselves. He thought that this must be serious, and all the better to meet someone in charge who could mean a good direction for his.. 'career'.

"So.. you wanna kill a Hutt?" He sighed through his helmet. His voice was slightly accented. "Name you price."

The Supreme Mogul awaited those who would come, soon enough, a single man walked through the door in a Mandalorian armor set. It seemed, to Kor, that most of the mercenaries these days were all Mandalorian, he had no problem with it, it's just a influx of different type of boots to be commanded around. The Zabrak waited only a moment after the man asked the question, hoping that more would arrive before he would have to explain this bounty, he didn't quite want to repeat himself over and over if more showed up at a later point.

He took a step forth, getting slightly closer to the Mandalorian. "This Hutt we will soon be after, I want him either dead or alive, alive if possible, that way I can get to know every little accomplice of his." He looked around, still no one? Time to push forward, then. "If he ends up dead, who ever is responsible for his death will receive two million credits. Those responsible for bringing him alive will get twice that amount. That's quite the incentive for all of you bounty hunters, isn't it?" He gave a small grin, he was sure that upon hearing a big payout of four million credits would somewhat excite the other. For a single Hutt, hell, for a single contract, that was a lot of cash. Kor didn't care what kind of cash he would give, only that this small rebellion didn't get any further, of course, the other didn't know it was a small rebellion that caused this contract, only that a Hutt was wanted.

The Mogul took another step towards the man, his officer like stance proceeding to present its self in this conversation. "For those who complete this hunt will receive another reward, something much greater than cash, though I bet you could argue there is nothing better. For now, I will just leave you with that hint, it goes for who ever brings the Hutt to me."

This man was clearly different. He kept his mouth shut as he listened to the man go on, not even nodding. He was almost frozen in his armor as he heard all the man said. But by the end of it, he wasn't surprised, shocked, excited or even awed. He simply gave a slight nod before speaking. "I want your money and this.. 'prize' you speak of. Give me your comm's channel and I'll tell you when its done." He spoke in a stern voice, it wqs becoming clear he was in this for himself, and wasn't some Mandalorian honor fanatic working for Mandalore or someone similar. He paused for a moment, keeping his blaster pointed down but raising it closer to him in his hands. He kept his stance relaxed but alert at the same time. He was "cool". He didn't need to know the reason behind the bounty. A job was a job.

Oberon was a serious man, and one with good reason behind such. He was always out for himself, his partnerships had never lasted. Any woman he was with would be gone in the morning sooner or later. He didn't care, he was a Bounty Hunter ready to make a name for himself. He was a quick draw space cowboy with a badass attitude and the skills to back it up. He was no fleet commander, and he didn't lead a squadron. But he made up for it by being clever, quick, and doing jobs that would usually require a squad- single handed.

He waited for this scene to progress.

The Zabrak looked over to one of the creatures in the room, giving a small nod. With this nod, the member of the Cartel tapped in a few codes into the data pad, the information going privately through a couple of checkpoints to secure itself before arriving in what ever data gathering device the Mandalorian had. After the man had received the channel password, the Mogul took another step forward, a more serious look playing across his face. "This is unlike me, but I am going with you for most of the journey, that is my only stipulation. The Hutt I am after has a small... well, military, as well as a couple large ships that we know of. Things could get a bit messy both on the ground and in space."

He now started walking towards the Mandalorian, soon enough passing him to go towards the exit of this room, he wanted to get into arms reach of this man to see if he would strike out, now knowing who the Zabrak was. As he passed the man, at least a dozen rifles were pointed in his direction, the ones in this room were the Zabrak's closet guardians, they would fire if the man made a move. Simply put, it was a test.

If the man didn't attack, which was the hope, the Zabrak would then reach the door, letting it slide open, awaiting the bounty hunter to make his way. "We are first going to go to where he was last spotted, my spies tell me he is a couple of blocks down the way, hopefully he is still there if we make good time." As he spoke, he placed a hood over his head, not exactly wanted to be seen in public, especially where they were going. After the hood was up, he moved to hook a piece of cloth that covered all but his eyes. He awaited the other to follow.

Oberon was not one for the Zabrak coming along but he waited to voice his opinion. Sure he understood wanting what the Hutt had, but Oberon wasn't one for being assisted in such manner- especially by an employer. He kept his eyes on the man and his gun lowered, seeing the Zabrak begin forward and go to pass him, he noticed that there were others and they were alert, ready to blast Oberon. But he knew better, these men were paid to make sure that Kor'Lok didn't get blasted away and surely they would be on guard around a man like himself.

With a nod of the head he narrowed his eyes beneath his helmet, taking steps to follow the Zabrak carefully and with relaxed ease. He knew his presence on Nal Hutta wouldn't be a problem but as for the Admiral it was a different story. He was pleased to see the man hiding himself to not cause a scene while on the surface. That would just mean more work for him.

He spoke with his head tilting slightly down towards the Zabrak. "If you get blasted out here, or in space for that matter. I've got no employer and no payment. Why waste your efforts when you're paying me?" He still followed the man, not trying to stop him. Maybe he would see his side and just lead him to the Hutt and let him do all the work. Though this man was different and interested Oberon. He was a leader who stood infront, not behind. He always thought men like that had short lifespans. But yet again, there's always something to learn and he was interested as to where this would go. It wasn't his first bounty by far, but an Admiral of a fleet- he never saw them fighting on foot with blaster in hand.

The once Mandalorian, Bounty Hunter was ready for whatever lie ahead. No matter how much he didn't attest to it.

As the Mandalorian followed suit, the Zabrak looked out of the door and gave a small nod, suddenly, all kinds of movement was heard. Most of all of the Cartel members in the room moved outside, leading the way, only a few stayed in order to watch the groups back. This was going to be a stealthy operation, up until the time of getting to where the Hutt was last located. Kor paused for a moment, only to answer the mans question. "I feel fully confident in the men I have here with me to guide me safely to where we are going." After he spoke, he quickly exited the room that housed them all, the door lead immediately to the outside of the building.

When the man stepped outside, it could be seen that there were three dozen soldiers that stood all around them, as if a mob was about to riot, this would be the small army that would take over the city block where the Hutt was. As soon as the Zabrak caught up to the three different commanders of the small group, it was this time that he gave them orders of how to proceed. "I want group one to cover all of the streets leading in and out, there are two roads that pass by that house, I want six men on each street, go now." He then turned to the second group commander. "I want group two to get on the roofs surrounding the house, set up good positions that cover all of the doors, windows, and any other ways that look to be means of escape. Go get set up." The Zabrak then turned to the final group commander. "I want group three to stick with myself and our new mercenary, cover us as best as you can and enter the house with us when we get there."

He looked back to the Mandalorian who had brought him his services. "Are you ready to move out? I've made sure that anyone else who wish to join us on this hunt, if they make it, to go to the Hutts known location with a the men I am leaving here."

Even though it's always been a good tactic, things behind the scenes always were the trump cards.

"Reroute power to turn port side and keep all monitors and communications. Steady once the fore is faced a little more off from the planet. We'll call soon with further instructions." Said the Mandalorian native. "I'm heading down. You!" He pointed to the Gammorrean abroad the bridge. "Keep tabs on those, I will be heading down to handle our business transaction."

Del was a man of brutality. Living the Mandalorian way for a good portion of his youth gave him strength, dexterity, constitution beyond most "trained" fighters. He was a quick cat with a huge bite. He never barked. That was for Kor'Lok, who barked orders at him - living up to the title of Supereme Mogul. Leading with a twist of his helmet, he finally opened the sliding door with his presence alone. Swishing closed, the man clacked his boots against the metal flooring with an ominous echo fading him out.

Another door opened, but this was to a small pod that would sustain falling into the atmosphere of the planet, where he pressed coordinates into the console. From the datapad to the main console, he was launched with a burst thrust and left to drift to the invisible layers of the planet. He floated with some haste into the pressurized and livable conditions of Nal Hutta. He was not late for the party at this rate. The fore center line of the ship tilted with small thrusters at the side of this small ship, allowing him to proper land accordingly to the designated area. There was a scarce populace, but once he landed, the keel's thrusters dragged him down slowly to the ground. Once he landed, he was not too far from where he needed to be. Checking his datapad once again, he was ready to leave.

After a bit of travel, Del made his way into town with the rifle in both hands. His pistol remained in the leather-like holster that hung around his hip, which had a few items hung around the belt. A good number of detonators and flashbangs. For a Mandalorian, those were for the style of fighting he preferred. In most circumstances, at close range, he could handle himself well. Donning rich armor, able to use both northern and southern hemispheres of his body with agility and strength. He even, at long ranges, had his rifle and pistol for a more quick and straightforward attack. The Trickster Style he used was for those he needed to outsmart. For the threatening Hutt, all he needed was a good shot to the head. This was going to be easy.

The Mandalorian kept his position around the proximity of the streets surrounding the location where the Hutt remained. He was secluded in darkness, using covers and corners of buildings and canopies. Until the squadrons Kor'Lok provided had eventually made their rounds, he was off the social radar. Kor'Lok assigned his men to locations, and they climbed buildings discreetly, unseen. Others flooded streets in thin amounts, and a main squadron kept orbit around Kor'Lok, which included someone new.

"Sir, you acquired a single man?" Asked the Mandalorian. "I've scoped out some of the area, and the men I've seen in the streets," he spoke in hushed tones, "Can rush in through back doors. We can pinch him in."

Despite the t-shaped visor of his helm, his gaze shifted over to Oberon who followed as he spoke.

He walked beside Kor'Lok, hearing the Mandalorian approach he bothered not to turn around. Remaining at his new employers side, for he knew while he was there, not even an insect could come near the two. He listened to the man talk, grumbling to himself as if he had been underestimated before his voice projected though his helmet, answering the Mandalorian's question on his own. "I'm the only one he needs.. but I'm guessing you're milita on for the ride." Oberon kept his blaster rifle gripped close in his hands, ready to blast anything that moves. Though he remained calm and vigilant at his new 'employers' side. As they came closer to their destination he examined the streets and buildings around them as well as the location of the Hutt. "It's better if we let the man himself decide where to send his men. It seems he's got them set up in a perimeter, that will be useful for getting the hell out of here when we're done, and not getting any surprises from outside forces."

Oberon kept his gaze forward, keeping an open hearing to what Kor'Lok would have to say.

Ah yes, the unmerciful chit chat between two competing bounty hunters. It was something that Kor had learned to ignore, or at least, put in the back of his mind, other things were more important than who was better than who. The Mogul opened up the comms channel that everyone present could hear. "All right, everyone get ready, we are going in." Kor would give a single nod to the commander of the third group, the one surrounding himself and the other mercenary. He somewhat ignored Del's words, he knew that no matter what entrance everyone went through, the Hutt would be in deep poodoo. "Let's go." He told the group commander, and with this, four men of the twelve that were surrounding the Supreme Mogul rushed inside the building, Kor would follow right behind the small group rushing in.

There was actually no resistance what so ever upon entering the housing, this was quite strange. Upon further investigating the house, the entire third group had made their way into the building, scavenging to find out any information of why there was no one here. Was it false information? The smaller main group including Kor had pushed up to the main room, inside of it were two bodies, one dead, the other alive, but tied up. The group moved in towards the two bodies, the Mogul took the lead, checking over the one that was now a corpse. It was his spy that he had taking tabs on the Hutt he was after. He shifted over to the man that was tied up, removing what ever restraining device was over his mouth so he could speak. "What the hell happened here?"

(Well, as you can plainly tell, Dustin hasn't replied in a day and a half, so we are carrying on without him, he will be added later.)

The man who was tied up started to talk, his breath was quick and short, his eyes were looking up and down from Kor to what seemed to be his stomach. "There's a bomb! The shit faced Hutt strapped it to me! Help! I think it's on a timer!" Kor's eyes grew wide, this was a trap from all along, he should have knew it. He swiftly got up and opened the comms channel to all of his men. "It's a trap, everyone non-essential evacuate the premises, bomb squad get in here and see what you can do." The comms channel closed as soon as he was done speaking, he quickly turned towards Oberon and Del, if they chose to follow them in. "I'd suggest we leave until the bomb unit can come and disarm this thing, you are welcome to try it with your own hands if you think you know how to disarm... what ever it is strapped to his chest. We need this man alive to tell us where the Hutt went." The Mogul proceeded to leave the building, he wasn't about to stay inside the house just on a hope that they could disarm it in time.

If you wan't a job done right. You do it yourself.

Oberon had followed Kor inside, observing the scene carefully with watchful eyes and a ready blaster. By the time they had reached the bodies he knew it was already over. Things we'rent so simple. Oberon listened to the single man still alive with curiosity, maybe he did know something. Either way it was obvious he was frantic, and it was his lucky day for Oberon was always one for taking things apart and seeing how they work and making them work. He enjoyed his technology and engineering as more of a passtime aside from his bounty work. Kor'Lok made himself clear that he didn't want to be in the room if something wen't down. Oberon understood, he meant too much to go out like that.

Oberon gripped his blaster in one hand now, by the handgrip- holding it down as he spoke through his helmets voice changer. "I'll handle this. Tell your men to wait outside.. You better have a damn good reward when this is over, Admiral." Oberon had guts, standing up to a dangerous man and his employer. Perhaps he would make a name for himself after all, and it was to begin with the Hutts. Either way, he was ready to do his duty and get paid. If something went wrong he wouldn't feel a thing. Incineration does that to you. With that being said Oberon watched Kor walk out of the room. He sighed and walked over to the man sitting down. He set his blaster on the ground as he knelt and began to look at the so called bomb attached to the mans chest. It was a form of thermal explosive, deadly stuff. But it was a detonation pack of some sort, hand made. Which mean it could be hand disassembled. He flipped his viewfinder down on his helmet, using the light thermal optics view to aid him in this bombs disposal. He reached down to his belt and grabbed a tool kit which he used for repairs on weapons, lockpicking, and other various things. Bomb disposal now apparently being added to the list.

While he took the tools out and began looking over the bomb strapped to the mans chest, he spoke to him. "Don't move and this will go easier. Tell me about what happened to you, don't leave out the details." He grabbed a screwdriver like item, placing his hand carefully on the side on the pack to find an opening to where the casing could come off. When he found one he jammed the tool into the opening and tilted it, forcing part of the cover to pop up and become able to be removed.

    It was progress.

Del was always stoic – enough to disregard the hound's barking.

He took his rifle and propped it up to aim from his hip. He went in with his commander and the squad to find absolutely nothing. There were two men, one dead and another alive. He had a systematic machination of explosive qualities that hadn't brought a single bead of sweat to Del's face. He didn't worry. He kept silent, lowering the barrel of his rifle to the ground.

"It's a trap, everyone non-essential evacuate the premises, bomb squad get in here and see what you can do,” was his cue to leave without having to waste a single shot. Honestly, he preferred it this way. A piece of him grieved because of a bad habit, being able to steal blasters and weapons alike. He loved the spoils of war. Ever since his younger days, he would take his trophies and vanish. He returned to the ship, remaining at Kor's side like an obedient dog.

His Admiral, Kor'Lok, left with words of wisdom and at his heels was Del. He tossed a dark glare back to the mercenary. Planning to put himself on the line in hopes of disarming a bomb seemed ridiculous, though there was the possibility. He wouldn't deny the stranger that.

[[ Short post is short. Not a lot to do when you're a quiet dog. xD ]]

(Finally tweaking this, I've given Oberon almost three weeks to post, his character is now NPC status until he is able to post.)

The transport ships is indeed where he went, whether or not the bomb went off. He figured Del would follow him as he normally did, it gave him no troubles. Once Kor made it to the transport, he took a step inside, getting to undo the cloth that hid his face. Some time had passed since they had left, had the bomb went off, was it perhaps a dud, did Oberon defuse it? These were questions he was unsure of at this moment. He looked down to the holoprojector on his wrist, showing the time, it had been a few minutes. He quickly looked up from his holoprojector and over to Del, a couple of thoughts were running through his mind. "So, we know for a fact that this was a trap set up by the Hutt, question is, how did he know we were coming, as well, how come we have no reports of his movement? This seems all too strange. What are your thoughts?"

He eyed the Mandalorian, gazing at the armor up and down, at his stance, he knew all too well that someone was working within his organization with the Hutts, and he couldn't keep anyone out of his inquisitive gaze as to who it may be.

Before Del could respond to his question or even his statement of thought of it being a trap, Oberon came out of the shadows with the man that was in the building, the bomb disarmed successfully, the man seemingly grateful for his life. As the two got to the transport ship, Oberon threw the man to the ground, the bomb itself no where to be seen. It was taken care of, luckily. The man who was just saved moved to his knees, looking up at Kor, as that is who Oberon shoved him to. The Mogul moved forward, bowing at the waist to lean closer to the man. "So, tell me, what happened to the scum that put a bomb on your chest and left you for dead? You owe him no more loyalty, instead, put your allegiances in with me. I can help you, protect you, even give you an honest living. So, tell me, where did he go?"

The man take a large breath of air, followed by a swallow. "I don't know where he went, but, I do know that his headquarters of operations is in a large hallowed out asteroid a few hundred kilometers to the eastern orbit of Rorak. My best guess is he went there to prepare to move against your organization."

Kor gave a swift nod, followed by a militarized 180 degree turn. "Take us back to my flagship, prepare the fleet to move to Rorak as soon as possible. We go there within the hour." The pilot of the transport ship gave a nod, the doors to the ship closed, Kor took a seat near the closing door.
