This structure is subject to change depending on how the Grand Master wishes to organize the Jedi.

    Jedi Ranks

Within the Jedi Order there are four basic ranks, and each Jedi will be one of them.

    >Jedi Hopeful/Initiate
Clearly the easiest rank to achieve. In order to become a Jedi Hopeful or Initiate you must be force-sensitive and looking for a Master to train you.

    >Jedi Padawan
In order to become a Jedi Padawan you must have been accepted by a Jedi for training, and have began your training with them.

    >Jedi Knight
In order for a Padawan to become a Jedi Knight, they must have completed their training (Force Powers and Lightsaber) and passed a trial that is prepared for them by their individual Master.

    >Jedi Master
A Jedi Masterwill have been chosen by the Council for showing commendable prowess in the Force and ability with a Lightsaber, as well prove to be a role-model Jedi for the Order. In order to become a Jedi Master, the Jedi Knight simply has to keep developing themselves and hope the Council takes interest. However in other cases, a Jedi Knight chosen to be on the Council is often automatically ranked a Master.
